Savannah Chop House - a little history about Savannah Chop House

this establishment may have been started by David Wilhelm, but the truth of the matter is it was then General Manager Dionysius Fiumano, who turned Savannah Chop House into what it is today. Mr. Fiumano "trimmed the fat" if you will by terminating those employees who didn't work to his expectations. When Mr. Fiumano managed the restaurant, the service was impeccable and so was the atmosphere which made the meal all the more wonderful. Unfortunately, Mr. Wilhelm's ego got in the way because Dionysius Fiumano did what he could not.

Golden Night Restaurant - Just Horrible

Horrific service. Hidden charges when it came time for the bill. Complete rip off! The food was dry and tasteless. This is run by some VERY SHADEY people. I DO NOT recommend this establishment.

Manhattan Supper Club - Manhattan steak and seafood

As soon as i parked i knew i was going to love this restaurant. While walking up the door was opened for me and i felt like a guest right away, the host greeted me with a friendly smile and a warm invite in. i was seated quickly in this beautiful room they call the wine cellar. This room was well designed with matching decor.I was then greeted with a server who was very helpful and when i asked questions about the menu was able to tell me all the info i needed to help me pick out the perfect entree. the overall night was beautiful and fun and without a second guess i will be back to the best restaurant in orange county.

Full Moon Restaurant - Killer Sushi, Great Price!

I'm a sushi aficionado and it would be difficult to find any better sushi unless you go to Japan. The owner is formerly from Matsu's in Huntington Beach, but this place blows Matsu's away. Even though I prefer traditional sushi over the rolls, their signature Hawaiian Roll is unbelievable.... Mmmmm... Oishii!! (Delicious!)

Average at best; doesn't hold a candle to the Red Oak BBQ in Whittier, CA.

Tony's Little Italy Pizza - Chicago style pizza

This is not real Chicago style pizza, all they do is use a lot of cheese. I have been there several times and every time I have been disappointed. I have given them several chances and every time the same bad pizza. This last time it was so runny and no sausage on it like I ordered....I just returned from Chicago and I was hoping for some good Pizza but no luck. They don't get it, so these reviews calling them good don't know what Chicago Style Pizza really is.....

Andrei's Conscious Cuisine - A real gem!

Andrei’s is a gem – the restaurant I’ve been waiting for since I’ve lived and worked in Irvine. I’ve been there three times now, twice for lunch and once for dinner, with my parties consisting of all foodies, and we love this new place. The entire staff is attentive, welcoming and caring from the chef, Yves, who we knew from his previous restaurant (6ix at Hyatt Irvine), his wife Elyssa (pastry chef) to the managers, servers and even the valet!

Some of the food is great, some of it not so much. Chowder is great, albacore plate awesome, drinks stiff! Location is prime. Fun place to hang on the patio or at the bar during the day. The lunch bartender is funnier than hell. It's a must try!!

Frenzy Sushi - MOODY CHEF!!!

I liked this place okay and would come about once a week (very close to my work), for lunch. Then I noticed how MOODY Jon (the owner), would get sometimes. He acted like he was doing ME a favor by letting him serve me. After about the third time of receiving this kind of treatment, I have NEVER been back!. The quality of food or sushi did not outweigh overlooking the service by ANY means. Try Fujiyama on Superior & PCH! Awesome!

Orange Hill Restaurant - okay view, bad bad food

I see this place got some awards. Maybe a long long time ago. Or else this place was competing with Norms restaurant then I could see how they could get an award. My sister and I just went here last night for my birthday. First of all, the hostess, who I called 3 times, could not give me correct directions to this place even though I asked to speak to someone else who could give me accurate directions. This place is on a street called cliff way, not chapman. Anyway, the food is bad here. I would rate the food a little higher than a tgi fridays, but 3 times the price. Seriously, kobe skewers were fatty, chewy and drenched in teriyaki sauce, maybe to hide the fact that they were so bad. Also, the calamari was not fresh, chewy too and stale. The ravioli entree was worse than a first year college dorm mate trying to cook. Do not eat here, you'll be greatly disappointed. Just get a bottle of wine, the list is extensive. Forget about getting dessert, this is really bad too, unedible. A Denny's dessert is better, that's how bad this place is.

Anaheim White House Restaurant - Best restaurant in town!

I think this restaurant is impeccable. The 100 year old house may be old, but its very charming and welcoming. The service was outstanding, everyone was very professional and did everything they could to ensure we had everything we needed.

Nick's Pizza Ristorante - Simply the Best!

As far as OC goes I've tried most the popular ones......Peppinos (OK, a bit over-rated), Angelo & Da Vinci's, (not so good & way over-rated), Bene Mangia, Mangiqa Mangia (both decent), Lomeli's (considering the low prices, they're actually pretty good), Ti' Amo (not so good and overly hyped), The White House (I'm baffled why people like this place, not good), Villa Nova (worse than the White House). The reason some of these places receive way too much acclaim is mostly due to uneducated food afficiando's, who are fooled into thinking the food is better than it is because of the atmoshere. Honestly folks, do you really think the Villa Nova would have the rep they have if they were located in Garden Grove rather than on the water in Newport Harbor? And to be honest, I hear more about the charming 100 year old, turn of the century converted cottage home that is the White House, rather than their food. To me the place is gawdy and not very clean.

ChickPita® Fresh Mediterranean Grill - WOW

Wow, what a great and unexpected addition to OC. Awesome home cooked Mediterranean food, It has a cool vibe in there, good World music playing, and about the nicest staff in Laguna Niguel. I reccommend the lentil soup, hummus and shawarma and save room for the baklava. It is not homeade but tasty nonetheless. A lot of vegetarian option make it suitable for just about anyone.
