Mandoo Bar - Mandoo Bar

We visit 3-5 Korean restaurants every time my husband and I visit NYC and Mandoo Bar was the WORST one we've ever been to. All the Korean restaurants in the area are a lot better than that. First of all, we thought it was pricey for mandoos but we thought it would be a good place since they were shown on a Korean TV show but we regret that we went there. We went there last weekend and I ordered Combo Mandoos so I can try three different mandoos (pork, seafood and veggie). They all turned out to be a disappointment. I got them 10 minutes later and they all tasted the same and bland, very little flavor. My husband ordered Ramen with Mandoos and he had to wait 30 minutes to get his food. The restaurant wasn't especially busy at that time and I know it takes less than 10 minutes to make ramen so we don't understand why it took so long. When we complained to the waiter, he told us to wait only a couple more minutes, and we had to wait 10 more. My husband finally got his ramen, but guess what, it was barely cooked! Also, on the way to the bathroom, I found the side dishes piled next to the bathroom door, all opened. We decided not to complain again since we were about to miss our bus. We went to there because we wanted something quick before we catch our bus and we knew places like that serve food pretty quickly but we had to wait so long and almost missed our bus.

The Pinnacle At Heritage Hills Country Club - Worst Service Ever! Don't Book A Party Here!

Good Food/Awful Service and Poor Management. We recently hosted and event at this restaurant. When we arrived 30 min prior to the party starting all our tables we're set incorrectly. We went to the restaurant the night before and told them the number of people to set for at each table...All the tables were wrong! Not only did I have to run around helping them fix the tables as my guests were arriving but 90% of the table setting were missing plates, silverware glasses etc. When I asked where the wine glasses were they informed me that "They didn't have any clean ones and would try to wash some for me". Also my guests were left sitting there because they took 45min between each course, The food was good but everyone was tired of waiting for the food to come out. I was so embarrassed! Many of our older guests had to leave before we even cut the cake because they were still serving us our entrees at 9pm (Party started at 4pm). When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that "No one from management is in on Sundays" Please don't waste your time of hard earned money on this place. There are so many better places to host events in Westchester. I have learned my lesson.

I found this place by chance nice space to sit and chat with friends. It is definitely a better alternative than the subway next door and much more tasty food...loved the grilled chicken and fought my friend over her last piece of falafel. the staff were very friendly too.

La Focaccia - La Focaccia is Al Pacino Italian Ristorante destination in West Village

The Ristorante La Focaccia location at a prime people watching corner, the roar of the wood burning brick oven open flame, its modest prices for the quality and amount of food on the plate, this is an excellent value. Delicious Italian food with a wonderful atmosphere.

La Focaccia is my favorite restaurant in the West Village! I was invited to a party with Al Pacino, and I stayed to have a great dinner afterwards. This place has been around for almost 17 years and it’s always a pleasure to come here. Their Northern Italian food is always the best, especially the pasta! They have remained true to their roots.

A friend took me to La Focaccia and told me their penne vodka was delicious. It was. This restaurant is right in the middle of all that the West Village has to offer. Its dim lighting and close tables make it feel like a real neighborhood restaurant and the huge glass windows make people watching really fun. Within 5

Grimaldi's - OK But Not Great

I ate at the original Fulton St location in Brooklyn a few weeks ago. Along with 2 other pizza-oriented people, we looked forward to Grimaldi's. What we found was that the pizza was not quite as good and tasty as it had been in the past. Another customer who has also been there before also found it to be just ok and not worth the long journey to Brooklyn from where we were staying in Manhattan. Service was good.

Tang's Pavilion - Decent Food but Dreadful Servive

I ate here with four others in July 2009. The food overall is pretty good and reasonable by NYC standards. However, this is one of those rare places where the service level was so rude and disgusting that we will never return here. The waiters attitude of not responding to questions and then being arrogant througout was even too much for our local friends who said they will also not return here. Avoid!!

Rraci Restaurant - worst meal ever put it in your rear view mirror

terrible, terrible, terrible, not only did they not have shrimp as they said on the menu but there was nothing on the menu you would find in a traditional upscale one of a kind expensive Italian restaurant since I saw shrimp I asked for a shrimp cocktail which they said they did not have and when I asked about shrimp they said they have oysters today and shrimp tomorrow , I unfortunitly ended up having a steak and potatoes in an Italian restaurant not exactly an Italian specialty also I had asked for double potatoes instead of broccoli and they as you might have guessed, brought me broccoli instead with the steak which had a big bone at the top and on the side and fat through out the entire steak which they cut up for me showing the fat, plus I also think it was swimming in grease, which they asked me if I wanted and I said no when I said I did not want broccoli the waiter then said very nastily that is what you ordered sir I told him I wanted double potatoes and he brought me 6 little pieces and said that was a double order. After I found the manager and told the manager about the shrimp and he said they are little and take to long to cook no one on the staff cares for the customer and are all very cold, uncaring and most insensitive people. On the way out I told the hostess, I was very displeased asked who owned the restaurant and she said her father did when I asked if I could tell him what happened she said he is hardly ever there and have a nice nite this was also my birthday dinner , which I will never forget McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts would have been better than this place DON'T I REPEAT waste your money at this joint , pass this place by when you do you will do yourself the biggest favor in your life. Can you imagine all those people so insensitive to customers I can't, I always thought the customer was always right boy was I wrong you eat what they want you to eat or leave. In closing we wanted a relaxed meal not at RRACI we not only had drinks but two of the three of us had appetizers and one had coffee and with each of us eating a main course we were out in a little over an hour way to fast for a quality dining place. When it comes to courtesy there wasn't any , i called made a reservation, asked for a special table, and said it was my birthday dinner, not only didn't they know we had a reservation but they sandwiched us in between two customers and were not even nice about it. when it come to a clean restaurant not only did two of the three of us have bad reactions from the food or preparation of it the next day by having diarrhea, definitely not a clean kitchen, the manager looked like a busboy no tie sloppy outfit, I by mistake dropped a knife fork or spoon, I don't remember on the floor they picked it up but did not replace it. I really think they wanted us to LEAVE right then and there

Emporio - Slow service, poor food

Emporio has very slow service and does not really know what it's doing when it comes to Roman-style pizza. The spicy sopresatta pizza was burned absolutely black - as was its replacement. My entire group just got up and left. What a disaster. Hopefully their other entrees are better, or I can't see them lasting long.
