I went to Beechwood for a friends birthday. Service was extremely slow. It took over 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive once ordered. I ordered the red snapper. When the waitress brought out my dish a horrible odor of fish engulfed the surrounding area. Fish is not supposed to smell, especially at the price Beechwood charges. My friend's tagliatelle with mushroom sauce was equally disappointing. Tagiatelle should be homemade and the mushroom sauce should be rich in an earthy mushroom flavor. Instead the tagaitelle was obviously store bought and rubbery and the sauce was simply butter with a few mushrooms and herbs. If you go here, only order from the small menu. My friend spoke with our waitress and manager about the long wait we had for our food. The manager was unfriendly and unsympathetic. He did not offer to discount our bill. Instead he placed two bouncers by the door to make sure we didn't skip on our bill. How much more low class can one be made to feel? What a disappointing birthday dinner for my friend. I will never go back.
In two words, baseless arrogance. Despite a decor that would be cutting edge for a suburban Chili's in Wisconsin, the staff at the Beechwood seems to think that they belong on a movie set.

"But at Beechwood the bar is so inviting, its menu so enticing, I'd much rather eat there than in the dining room. With its chic Mies van der Rohe-inspired benches, wood-paneled ceiling and clever use of textures, Beechwood's style is sleek and Modernist w..."
"Beechwood hit me up first thing with an incredible bread basket. They may as well have called this "The Janet Basket because it had all three of my most favorite breads..."
"Anyway, liked the chaise lounge-y seating in Beechwood's bar, and loved the HUGE pulled pork sandwich with fried pickles even more--at $12 it was a steal...."
"Don"t be intimidated by the beautiful people toasting creative cocktails over the crackling fire pit. They"re also loosening their belts with Beechwood's amazing bar menu...."
"With warm ochre and amber hues, stunning atrium seating, a fire pit on the loungey patio and a dining room that's separate enough from the bar so you can actually have dinner in it, it's sophisticatd yet still very Venice. It's like a souped-up living roo..."
"Beechwood doesn't disappoint on the cocktails either. (Though their wine list is a little hit or miss.) But what they do best is mojitos..."
"Both the regular and bar menus are offered in the main dining room. With a glass of very yellow pinot grigio (we honestly believe the server must have accidentally brought us chardonnay), we were quite tempted to order three things from the bar menu...."
"Both the bar menu and the dinner menu are offered in both the bar and the dining room, which would just make more sense to have one menu for the entire outfit, but perhaps it just makes it more fun to be able to order from the menu that isn"t normally o..."
